You should also check the seams while buying tailored dress shirts. High quality shirts have only single stitching and it is visible as it the line runs down the side of the shirt. However, most of the dress shirts have two lines of stitching. You should also check the stitching on the buttons as well, with the high quality shirt buttons sewn on the cross-locked stitch.

When selecting the tailored dress shirts, ensure that it fits well on your body for maximum comfort. Examine the collar, arms and wrists to have a shirt of your fitting. After you have the shirt on your body, put two fingers between your neck and the collar to check the fitting.  Since the shirts shrink after some washing, it is always advised to buy a shirt that has a bigger collar as it will shrink later.
